Dine All Day!!

Sneaky hidden gem. Been here for years, mad I did not come sooner. Food is delicious, tons of fun specials and events and adult drinks and breakfast all day! Not just a burger joint! Had amazing redfish and and can not wait to try the gluten free waffles!

Was greeted as soon as I walked in, and the service was quick and prompt. My server was great. He checked up on me multiple times throughout my meal. I didn't get his name, but he has tats. I sat outside because the weather felt great with a slight breeze from the lake. My Hunger Crush burger tasted fresh, the caramelized onions and cheese skirt went perfectly on the burger. The fries were also hot and fresh with a kick of salt. Overall my experience went very well, and will be back again. Parking: Parking is shared with other businesses, so it might be hard to find a spot since it's not that big of a lot.

This has been my third time coming and each time was amazing. Love the breakfast options they have, even have vegetarian options for my friend that was with me! I had a pumpkin cappuccino and chicken and waffles and it was delicious! Will definitely be back again!

We are regulars on their hunger board. They donate to the food bank for each one sold. You get 4 eggs prepared any way you like, bacon sausage, and the best toast! Fantastic French toast and pancakes! I haven't even mentioned their lunch and dinner! Excellent food and service, and you can have mimosas with breakfast and a glass of wine with dinner. If you love the lake view, you can dine on the patio. A super place with super food!

Loved the food; the latte and espresso were so tasty, and those onion rings: YES! Also enjoyed the view of the outdoor seating area and the stroll with my family. A huge shout out to our server, Melissa, who was fantastic!

Came in for a late lunch and it wasn't very busy. Much of the staff appeared very bored but our server was lovely. Very attentive and friendly. They have a big menu and our group was split with some ordering off the breakfast menu and others getting lunch. Everyone enjoyed their food. Looking forward to visiting again at different times of day and also taking advantage of the outdoor patio space overlooking the lake.

We recently visited Hunger Crush Cafe on Lake Conroe, and it was a delightful experience! The location is perfect, offering a beautiful view of the lake that creates a relaxing atmosphere. This little gem in Montgomery is the place to come for a great breakfast. The most impressive thing I learned after a great service is that the chef/owner makes everything from scratch. You want a great fresh meal . This place is highly recommend. I've been in the restaurant industry for 15 years and I definitely see this location doing something good . 5 stars

Food and atmosphere were great, 10 out of 10 I'll be back to try some of the weekly specials, especially taco Monday 😂 because an extra taco day a week is never a bad thing.

Was greeted by (I'm assuming an owner) with a smile!!! Great way to start your morning. He chose a booth for me and told me my waitress would be by soon!
She is so bubbly and friendly!!! Suggested a frozen mimosa bc they are on special right now!! Yes please!!! I asked for suggestions on food since the menu said lunch wasn't served until 10:30. She told me it was fine and I could order whatever I want! So I started with the fried Brussel sprouts!! Devine!!!! The balsamic glaze paired with the fried bacon was perfection!!!!! They came out super fast and hot!!!!
Next, breakfast!!! Again, went with my waitress' suggestion and got the eggs Benedict! Came out super fast as well!!!! Went with the potatoes!! Yum!!! Perfect hollandaise with delicious ham and the tomato was a great addition!!! Egg cooked perfectly and runny!!! Yum!!!!!!
Overall great experience!!!! Extremely impressed with the food, service, and vibe in this restaurant!!! Will def be back to try out lunch!!!! If you're in the area, STOP!!!!! Enjoy a fresh, hot meal!!!

First time here, went with father in law, he banged his leg on his car and Mike (been there a week) took care of him. Great attitude, great service great food and will go back again, and yes they will cook you a medium rare burger. Chef came out to make sure wife's vegan burger was perfect and it was. I would even eat it! Forgot to take picture of the Bruschetta but it was great as well. Take care of Mike, he's an asset to your business.

Yummy, the omlette was good, the portions they serve are very filling I have no complaints there. Nothing too outstanding but it's Good! Walter was nice too.

I’m on the carnivore diet so finding restaurants to eat at when out of town is challenging. This place is really great. I love breakfast foods for dinner. I had the omelette and it was delicious. Service was good. Blown away I didn’t have to wait to be seated. I highly recommend Hunger Crush Cafe. Something here for everyone.

Excellent food! This isn't just an ordinary cafe. The chef is amazing and the food is spot on. Don't sleep on this. You need to go and enjoy this hidden gem!

Hubby and I enjoyed a nice little brunch/lunch here for our first time visiting. Great open, bright ambiance with amble table, booth and outdoor seating. Super clean restrooms and atmosphere. Hub's thoroughly enjoyed his fresh Philly cheesesteak with au ju. He said it's one of the bests he has had...he has had a lot. I was in heaven surprised by the Pesto chicken with super yummy creamy pesto sauce with really delicious and flavorful grilled veggies and cilantro rice. I never eat a whole entree by myself at one setting. This was so tender, juicy and flavorful I devoured it. These grilled veggies were so flavorful and perfectly cooked... not all mushy but yet just right and delectable. Service was "on-point", drinks refilled and we were checked on without feeling pestered. We are already planning our next visit to enjoy more of the menu creations here. Highly recommend

Ok... so i added an egg to the pot roast and let me tell you something! Let me tell you something 😆 the pot roast was so soft and tender that it practically melted while trying to pick it up with a utensil! The egg set it off... couldn't possibly get any better! It came out fast, warm, healthy, delicious... and the buttered biscuit that comes with it... No joke! You'll get your butter fix and it also had a slight almost crunch with almost toasted marks 💯! I wasn't too crazy about the mashed potatoes and understood that the salad would have been the better pairing. Go gitcha some of that pot roast... you won't be disappointed! The service was also fantastic and very warm, personable and focused. Will definitely be back to try tie cheeseburger and back again for more pot roast!!! Oh yeah ... The view of the water from the back booths and outdoor seating... 💥

So Ashley was an amazing server, she helped with the direction my tummy wanted to go... Yo, check this spot out for breakfast. It's super yummy. I had the Eggs Benedict and a Nutella Coffee both yummy but ate the food before I could snap a picture. That was amazing! Had to tell the chef I was sad when I got to the end of the yummy goodness that was entering my mouth, but now im stuffed! I sat outside and it's a really nice view of the lake with fans and heaters, has a nice little coverage so rain or whatever you can still sit outside...it's Texas and some of us love it.

Finally had the chance to try Hunger Crush this weekend for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious! Loved the vibe and atmosphere inside. The staff was wonderful! Can't wait to come back to try breakfast.

I joined the wine dinner it was fantastic, you get to taste 8 different wines and 8 different dishes definitely worth it I’ll be back food and service was fantastic. Made a lot of friends as well. It was a unique experience

Amazing service from Devin! Greeted with nothing but smiles. We were so excited to grab a bite to eat; and the Hunger Crush Cafe was such a great decision! Breakfast all day… so in my opinion you cannot beat that. The biscuits and gravy are nothing like I’ve ever had. Overall it was such a lovely meal— I experienced a nice atmosphere, and a very clean environment. I am so grateful that I decided to bring my family here! The chips that come with the chicken salad sandwich were amazing and had a very unique taste by the way.

We had heard great things about the food, ambiance and location at Hunger Crush Cafe … and they also have these really cool family style food boards that provide meals for the Montgomery Food Bank. Right now, they are doing a passport tour of the world’s wine regions, so we attended one of those wine dinners last night. If you have not visited this place, you need to go check them out! Fabulous experience! The owner, Mike Kelton, and Chef, Teddy Rankin, put on a top notch, delicious and informative wine and food pairing dinner, and we can’t wait to go back for the next one! We tasted 2 wines for each perfectly paired course, starting with a simple, but beautifully balanced lentil salad and a light, refreshing salmon caper salad. That lentil salad was so good, I’m planning to harass Chef until he gives up the recipe so I can live on it all Summer! 🤪 Course 2 two was flavorfully herbed and breaded fried frog legs and escargot… served with mushrooms and a bright lemon garlic dipping sauce and beautifuk basil pesto. So delicious! The third course was bacon wrapped, sausage-stuffed quail and a nice, rustic and summery ratatouille. Both were thoroughly enjoyed and really complimented the wines that were served with it. For dessert, a duo of to-die-for desserts! The creme brûlée was everything it was supposed to be… from the perfect ”crack” in breaking through the golden brown sugary top to the creamy, lightly sweet decadence of cream inside. Equally delicious was the light and crusty, sweet and tangy lemon tart. It was obvious that Chef Teddy really enjoyed playing with this menu and executing this flawless event. If you’re interested in the wines that accompanied these courses, I took a picture of the wine menu, and they were presented by twos in order from top to bottom. I also included their regular, breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus because the wine dinners are special events with special menu items, but I will be going back to try some of their regular menu, too. It looks great! All of the staff, from owner to every single server, was friendly, welcoming, and really just made the night feel like one big family wine get together. My wife ordered the avocado toast and a side order of scrambled egg. Her food came out fast and exactly as ordered. I had the club sandwich and chips and they were delicious. Kudos to the staff and chef.

This was my first visit to Hunger Crush Cafe. Although my breakfast was wonderful, the items on the menu are typical of other places that I've dined for breakfast. I did not find anything unique on the menu, but my breakfast was very well prepared. The eggs were done properly, as was the bacon and toast. I also liked my Belgian Waffle very much. I will be back for sure. I look forward to trying more. This place is located in a great place. Dining on the patio will give you a beautiful view of Lake Conroe. And the service was impeccable.

The first time we ate here we did carry out for lunch and we were not disappointed. This morning we were out on our jet skis and we got hungry so we search Google for a restaurant to eat at that was open. Hunger crush Café was the only restaurant open this morning that we could access with our jet skis. We had Cameron as our waiter. He was kind, courteous and friendly. Our food was top notch! Our eggs were perfect, our potato’s were crispy and the bread was delicious! Our mimosas were so good that we ordered another round! We had such a positive experience at this restaurant that we asked to speak to the manager just so we could tell him how happy we were. To our surprise, we got the manager and the district manager at our table and we were able to tell both of them how excited and satisfied we were with the food and service that we received. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can. Hunger Crush Cafe, you have earned customers for life! Nice job!!

Went on a Saturday for brunch and ordered the chilaquiles which were great. The chips were crunchy and the sauce was very flavorful. And they have patio seating that overlooks the lake which I loved. The service was also great, our waitress was very attentive.

One of the best places to eat in the area. Our family tried a variety and no one was disappointed. The corned beef hash was excellent. The restaurant and bathrooms were super clean. Try a nutella latte with whipped cream.......it was definitely worth a try. Next time we are near Lake Conroe we will definitely stop here.
